Instructions
Making the Chocolate Bunnies
Start by melting 5oz of white candy coating in the microwave. Heat in 30 second intervals, stirring in between each one.
When the chocolate is completely melted, add in Chocolate Colour Mill Oil-Based Coloring & stir.
Transfer the colored chocolate into a tipless bag & snip off a small opening.
Pipe the brown chocolate into each cavity of a silicone bunny mold.
Tap to settle the chocolate & freeze the mold for 20 minutes.
After 20 minutes, carefully pop the chocolate pieces from the mold & set them to the side.
Making the Bottom Layer of Bark
Line a half-sheet cookie pan with parchment paper & set aside.
Melt 1 pound of white candy coating in the microwave. Heat in 30 second intervals, stirring in between each one.
When the chocolate is completely melted, add in the dehydrated marshmallows & stir until all of the marshmallows are evenly distributed.
Pour this mixture onto your prepared cookie sheet & spread as thin as you can. Try your best to spread the mixture into a shape that resembles a rectangle.
Set the pan to the side & work on the following steps.
Making the Top Layer of Bark
When the chocolate is completely melted, add Orange Creamsicle Flavor & Orange Oil. Stir until the flavoring is completely mixed in.
The Orange Creamsicle flavoring causes chocolate to thicken, so be sure to add paramount crystals. Microwave in 10-20 second intervals, stirring between each, until the paramount crystals are completely melted.
Once the chocolate is thinned to the right consistency, add Orange Colour Mill Oil-Based Color & stir to combine.
Pour the flavored & colored chocolate on top of the first layer of bark with the marshmallows in it.
Use an angled spatula to spread the orange chocolate to completely cover the first layer.
Decorating the Bark
Immediately, add your chocolate bunnies you created earlier.
We added pastel nonpareils royal icing carrot decorations & lime green jimmies. Easter Egg Sprinkles really took this bark to the next level!
Add edible glitter if desired.
Allow the bark to set up completely & then use a sharp knife to cut the bark into pieces.
Enjoy!
