Peanut Butter Oreo Pretzel Bark
The holiday season is a time for indulgence, and what better way to celebrate than with a treat that combines some of your favorite flavors: peanut butter, Oreo cookies, and pretzels? In this recipe, we're going to show you how to create Peanut Butter Oreo Cookie Pretzel Bark – a delightful fusion of sweet and salty, crunchy and creamy. We've used round pretzel balls for a fun twist on traditional pretzels, but chopped pretzels can also be used.
Peanut Butter Oreo Cookie Pretzel Bark is the ultimate fusion of sweet and salty, making it an ideal treat for holiday gatherings, gift exchanges, or just a cozy night in with loved ones.
Peanut butter candy melts tend to be somewhat thicker than other candy melts. Be sure to add paramount crystals to help thin the peanut butter coating. We recommend adding approximately 1 tablespoon per pound of candy coating, but more or less can be added as needed.
Ingredients
- 2 pounds Peanut Butter Candy Coating
- 10 ounces Oreo Pieces, plus extra for decorating
- 4 ounces Pretzel Balls, plus extra for decorating
- Paramount Crystals, as needed
Instructions
Lay out a large sheet of parchment paper onto the counter.
Place the peanut butter candy melts and 1 Tablespoon paramount crystals into a microwave-safe bowl.
Melt the candy melts using 20 second intervals, stirring in between to ensure the chocolate melts evenly and doesn’t scorch. Continue melting until the chocolate is fluid. If the peanut butter candy still seems thick, add additional paramount crystals and microwave for approximately 10 seconds more.
Immediately add the chopped oreo pieces and pretzel balls. Stir until cookies and pretzel balls are incorporated.
Use a spatula and spread the bark as thin as possible on the parchment paper. Sprinkle additional pretzels and cookies on top of the warm bark.
When the bark is just set, score using a pastry wheel, or allow to set up completely at room temperature before breaking into pieces.
Peanut Butter Oreo Pretzel Bark Candy can be kept at room temperature for 2-3 weeks. It is important to keep the bark in an airtight container to prevent the cookies and pretzels from becoming stale.
