Add royal blue candy melts directly into a tipless bag.
Melt the chocolate using 20 second intervals, kneading the bag in between to ensure the chocolate melts evenly & doesn’t scorch. Continue melting until the chocolate is fluid.
Snip off the end of the bag & pipe chocolate along the rim of your mug.
Gently tap the mug against the palm of your hand to help the chocolate drip further down the mug.
Immediately, add icing eyes, Oreo pieces, & chunks of chocolate chip cookies.
While the chocolate sets up, prepare whipped cream topping if desired. We used the Wilton Whipped Icing Mix, but any type of whipped topping can be used.
Transfer the whipped cream into a piping bag fitted with a large star tip.
Begin to make the homemade hot chocolate.
In a saucepan, combine milk & vanilla extract.
Add 1 cup royal blue candy melts & heat on the stove over medium-low heat, stirring constantly.
Heat until the chocolate has completely melted.
Remove the hot chocolate mixture from the stove & stir in the Cookie Dough Skinny Syrup.
Pour the finished hot chocolate mixture into your prepared mug.
Pipe on the whipped cream.
Add on blue sprinkles, Oreo pieces, & chocolate chip cookie chunks.
