Instructions
Start by prepping your strawberries. You will want to wash your strawberries and thouroughly dry them. It is important that your strawberries are completely dry to prevent drips of water seizing your chocolate. We placed our washed strawberries on a paper towel to dry. Once dry, we took a second paper towel to check each strawberry to insure dryness.
Lay out parchment paper to place your dipped strawberries once dipped. Lay out a second piece of parchment to use for glittering your strawberries.
Skewer your strawberry and pull up the leaves. This makes dipping them so much easier!
Melt your white chocolate wafers. For complete directions on how to melt chocolate please see our blog on
four ways to melt chocolate. We prefer the microwave method.
Dip one strawberry at a time coating it in the chocolate just up to the leaves.
Tap the strawberry on the rim of your bowl to remove the excess chocolate. Carefully use the rim of the bowl to remove any drips from the underside of the strawberry.
Over the parchment sheet sprinkle the edible glitter onto the wet chocolate. Completely coat.
Tap the strawberry to remove excess glitter.
Place the strawberry onto the parchment and carefully remove the skewer.
Allow your strawberries to sit until the chocolate has set. Use the parchment paper to funnel the extra glitter back into the jar.
