Create Cinnamon-Candy Apples

Collect your ingredients: apples, hard candy mix, cinnamon oil, water, butter, red food color, and wooden candy apple sticks. Follow our simple steps to make delicious Cinnamon-Candy Apples and enjoy a sweet, spicy treat!

Ingredients

  • approximately 4 apples
  • hard candy mix
  • 1/2 teaspoon concentrated cinnamon oil or flavor
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • wooden candy apple sticks
  • red food color
  • parchment paper

Instructions

Wash and dry apples. Push candy apple sticks into apples. Pour hard candy mix into saucepan and stir in 1/3 cup water and cook to 250°. Add color. Cook to 300°. Remove from heat and stir in flavor and butter. Dip each apple into hot syrup and place on parchment paper or silicone mat.
