Instructions
Melt Milk Chocolate:
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the milk chocolate candy coating in 30-second intervals, stirring between each interval.
Once melted, pour the chocolate into a tipless bag and seal.
Mold Bunny Shapes:
Fill each cavity of the silicone bunny mold with the melted milk chocolate.
Tap the mold on the work surface to settle the chocolate and release air bubbles.
Place the mold on parchment and use an angled spatula to scrape off any overflowing chocolate.
Refrigerate the mold for 15-20 minutes to set up.
Prepare Colored Chocolate for Eggs:
Melt a small amount of white candy coating in the microwave.
Add hot pink oil-based candy color, mix well, and place it in a tipless piping bag.
Fill one row of egg cavities with the hot pink chocolate.
Tap the mold to settle the chocolate and release air bubbles.
Repeat for Other Colors:
Pour the remaining pink chocolate back into the container.
Add more white chocolate if needed.
Color with purple oil-based food color, mix well, and fill another row of eggs.
Repeat the process for green and teal-colored chocolate in separate rows.
Refrigerate to Set:
Place the egg mold in the refrigerator for 10 minutes to allow the chocolate to set completely.
Melt Dark and White Chocolate:
Melt the dark candy coating and separately melt some white candy coating. Set aside.
Unmold Candy Pieces:
Invert the egg mold onto parchment and tap gently to release the colored candy eggs.
To remove bunnies from their mold, gently peel the mold away from the sides and press on the back of the cavity to fully release.
Prepare Chocolate Bark Base:
Line a half sheet pan with parchment.
Pour all of the dark chocolate onto the pan and spread it into an even layer.
Drizzle with the melted milk and white chocolates.
Swirl the chocolates using a scribe tool.
Immediately add the sprinkle mix and place the molded eggs and bunnies onto the dark chocolate.
Set Up and Score:
Let the bark set up for 5-10 minutes.
Score the bark using a metal bench scraper.
Let the bark sit for another 20-30 minutes until hardened.
Finish and Cut:
Spray the bark with edible white jewel dust.
Once set, use the metal bench scraper to cut through the scored bark and cut it into smaller pieces.
Enjoy your delicious and beautifully decorated Bunny Chocolate Bark!
