Instructions
Prepare your cake mix according to the package instructions. Once the cake has cooled completely, crumble it into fine crumbs in a large bowl.
Mix in your chosen frosting until the mixture is moist and holds together when squeezed.
Use a cookie scoop to get even size pops. Roll the scooped mixture into a ball and place on parchment to set.
Melt white chocolate candy coating with 1 tablespoon paramount crystals (add more crystals as needed). Dip the end of a sucker stick into the melted white chocolate, then insert into the rolled ball. Allow to set for 5-10 minutes.
Dip the cake pop in the melted white chocolate, then insert the stick into a styrofoam cake dummy. If using a darker cake, like chocolate, you may need to allow the dipped cake pop to set, then dip again to completely coat the pop.
Knead white fondant. Add a small amount of neon green color to the fondant.Knead until the color is mixed.
Roll the green fondant to a thin sheet.
Cut small circles.
Place the circles on the center of the cake pop.
Add the pupil of the eye using black poppy paint.
Mix neon green color with a bit of water to create a watercolor type of paint. Paint additional green on the eye to add depth.
Paint stripes on the eyeball with red poppy paint to create blood-shot eyes.
