Instructions
Sugar Skull Cupcake:
Use the easiest rose cutter to create a fondant rose.
Pipe a rosette with buttercream onto the cupcake.
Place the sugar skull decoration, fondant rose, and sprinkles on top of the rosette.
Spider Web Cupcake:
Trace the size of the cupcake on a piece of parchment paper and flip it over.
Using black buttercream, pipe a spider's web on the parchment paper following the traced circle. Start with a vertical line from top to bottom, then a horizontal line from side to side, followed by two diagonal lines creating an X. Connect these lines with scalloped lines, working from the outside to the center.
Freeze the spider web on the parchment paper to harden.
Pipe a dollop of white buttercream on the cupcake and dip it into a white sprinkle mix.
Pipe a small dollop of buttercream in the center of the cupcake and place the frozen spider web on top. Add a royal icing spider to complete the web.
Red Rose Cupcake:
With piping tip #104, pipe petals along the outside edge of the cupcake.
Pipe a second layer of petals, overlapping the first.
Use a Russian tip to pipe a rose in the center of the cupcake.
Sprinkle the white sprinkle mix over the cupcake.
Eyeball Cupcake:
Use an eyeball mold and fill it with melted candy writers to create the pupil, iris, and bloodshot lines. Let it firm up.
Fill the mold with melted white chocolate. Tap mold to release air bubbles and freeze for 15 minutes.
Attach the candy eyeball to the cupcake with buttercream.
Using piping tip #104, create overlapping arches, starting small and gradually increasing in size with each row until reaching the cupcake's edge. Adjust the tip angle for a natural rose opening effect. Add green leaves and jewel dust for extra flair.
Center Cupcake:
Use various piping tips (e.g., #104, #17) to add random piping skills such as rosettes, zig-zag ribbons, and dollop stars.
Adorn the rosettes with leaves and sprinkles.
Black Rose Cupcake:
Attach tip #104 to the piping bag and spackle the inside with red buttercream, then fill the center with black buttercream.
Pipe a dollop of buttercream in the center of the cupcake.
Pipe a rose as stated above in the eyeball cupcake.
Adorn the rose with leaves and jewel dust for decoration.
