Instructions
Apply Black Buttercream:
Use an offset spatula to spread and smooth black buttercream onto the top of each cupcake, creating a smooth surface.
Pipe the Belly:
With white buttercream and tip #805, pipe a long heart shape onto the center of each cupcake.
Allow the white buttercream to crust for about 5 minutes.
Smooth the Belly:
Place a piece of parchment paper or cake cloth over the white buttercream heart and gently smooth it to create a clean, polished look.
Add Eyes:
Place two black sugar pearls onto the white buttercream heart to create the penguin's eyes.
Pipe Wings:
Use black buttercream and tip #366 to pipe two wings on each side of the cupcake, creating the penguin's flippers.
Pipe Nose and Feet:
With orange buttercream and tip #3, pipe a small triangle for the penguin's nose at the bottom of the white heart.
Pipe two small feet beneath the nose to complete the penguin's adorable look.
