Instructions
Prepare and Bake Cookies:
Roll out your sugar cookie dough to about 1/4-inch thickness.
Use the clamshell cookie cutter to cut out the cookies.
Bake according to your cookie recipe instructions and allow them to cool completely.
Prepare Buttercream:
Stripe white buttercream with terracotta and periwinkle food gel pastes. To do this, place the colored buttercream in a piping bag, cutting the tip large enough to pipe a pea-sized dot.
Decorate Cookies:
Pipe Dots: Starting at the top of each cookie, pipe a row of colored buttercream dots in a pattern.
Create Texture: Use the back of a tasting spoon or an offset spatula to indent and drag the buttercream downward, creating a textured shell effect. Pipe a second row of dots and repeat the process until you reach the bottom of the cookie.
Assemble Cookies:
Place a bubble gum shimmer pearl onto the center of each decorated cookie.
