These dowels can be used with flat plates and cardboards or they can be used with the coordinating Ateco plates shown below.

Dowels Key Features:

• Simple Design: If using with the coordinating Ateco plates, there is no need to add additional dowels to your tiered cakes, these pillars are designed to serve as the dowels.
• Versatile Height: These parchment coated dowels come in a variety of lengths, or they can be cut with a serrated knife.
• Stable support: these pillars are made of durable, thick paperboard which are much stronger than straws and thinner plastic dowels. Use with the coordinating Ateco plates for even more stability. The “feet” on these plate hold the support dowels in place, preventing the columns from sliding.
