Crumbcoat & frost a 1 or 2-layer 5" cake in white frosting. Once completely frosted, transfer the cake to the fridge so the buttercream firms up.
In the meantime, roll pink fondant into a thin layer on a silicone mat, using powdered sugar or cornstarch to prevent sticking.
Use our Plant Mom Fondant Stamp to emboss the fondant & cut out using a round cookie cutter.
Set to the side so it has some time to dry out slightly. If you have a dehydrator, you can set the temperature to 95-105F & allow it to dry in there for up to an hour.
Work on the cupcakes while the cake chills & the fondant plaque dries.
Frost a swirl of white frosting onto each cupcake.
Immediately, dip the freshly piped cupcake into a bowl of coconut candy crunch. Use clean hands to gently form the frosting in a perfect round shape.
Once both cupcakes are frosted & dipped in the coconut candy crunch, you are ready to decorate.
Spray both cupcakes with gold edible glitter.
Use tip #17 in a piping bag filled with light green frosting to pipe a spikey plant in the following stages:
Immediately, add white sprinkles. The sprinkles may not stick well if you wait too long.

It is now time to pipe some succulent transfers. Cut out small parchment paper squares that will fit on your flower nail. Add a small dollop of frosting onto the base of the nail to help the parchment paper stay in place.
Use tip #102, with the skinny side up to pipe your succulent in the following stages.
Carefully remove the parchment paper with the piped succulent on it to the freezer to set up completely. Pipe atleast 3 succulents for the cake plus some extras for the cupcakes.
For the second design, carefully remove one of the succulents piped on the floral nails & transfer it to the left-side of the cupcake.
Then, use tip #864 to pipe a large dollop to create a cactus.
Immediately, add white sprinkles. The sprinkles may not stick well if you wait too long.
Switch to using tip #16 & pipe a pink dollop flower.

Now you can prep your Bento Box. Trim a 6-cavity cupcake insert & place into the box.
At this point, your cake should be cold enough to work with. Carefully transfer your frosted cake an 8" x 10" piece of kraft brown parchment paper & set into the prepped Bento Box. Adjust the parchment paper as needed.
Now you can decorate the top of the cake. Use a small amount of buttercream to attach the fondant plaque made previously.
Pipe various types of succulents & flowers around the border of the cake.
Once you have all your succulents & flowers piped, fill in any extra spaces with dollops of a sage green buttercream using tip #8.
Carefully add your 2 decorated cupcakes to the Bento Box.
