Succulent Bento Box Cake & Cupcake Tutorial

Crumbcoat & frost a 1 or 2-layer 5" cake in white frosting. Once completely frosted, transfer the cake to the fridge so the buttercream firms up.

In the meantime, roll pink fondant into a thin layer on a silicone mat, using powdered sugar or cornstarch to prevent sticking.
Use our Plant Mom Fondant Stamp to emboss the fondant & cut out using a round cookie cutter. using plant mom fondant stamp to emboss fondantcutting out fondant plaque using round cookie cutter
Set to the side so it has some time to dry out slightly. If you have a dehydrator, you can set the temperature to 95-105F & allow it to dry in there for up to an hour.

Work on the cupcakes while the cake chills & the fondant plaque dries.
